My calling to design
I discovered my latent passion for design while I was an undergraduate computer science student. I enjoyed adding a touch of creativity to my assignments by using custom fonts, vibrant colors, and eye-catching patterns. These incremental changes resulted in my work standing out from the rest and garnering the attention of my professors and peers.
However, it was a during a course titled "Human-Computer Interaction" that truly ignited my UX design passion. In that classroom, a dazzling realization dawned upon me - the profound influence that design could wield over user experiences. I knew that UX design was the perfect way to combine my love of design with my desire to make a positive impact on the world. From that point on, I pursued my newfound passion for UX design with unflagging enthusiasm, eager to harness its potential to create meaningful impact.

I believe that design transcends aesthetics; it entails understanding user needs, crafting functional and visually pleasing solutions, innovatively resolving challenges, fostering connections, evoking emotions, and enabling seamless interactions.

My name is Shallom Isaiah, I am a product designer, user experience designer and visual designer who is user-obsessed and passionate about building seamless digital experiences that makes the user happy. This I achieve using user centered approach, which includes making extensive user researches, making sure I understand how the user feels about the product, specifying the users need and designing inclusive and data driven solutions to solve the users problems.
I have experience working in Regtech, Edutech, Fintech, HealthTech and Saas products. I have worked on numerous mobile and web products and helped my clients achieve their business goals while ensuring the designs are intuitive and user-friendly with an exceptional user experience.
Nothing great is made alone. Presently, I find myself in the dynamic environment of a fast-paced startup, where i contribute in designing digital products from concept to launch, I collaborate cross-functionally with the product team, technical engineers and business stakeholders. I believe that creative collaboration between design and technology is the magic that transforms good experiences into excellent ones. I'm inquisitive, continuously changing and evolving, and always keen to learn new things.
Interests; I am passionate about emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), wearables, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), voice interfaces, assistive technology and cognitive psychology for UX, blockchain, the internet of things {IOT}, robotics and biotechnology. I am particularly interested in the potential of these technologies to transform the way we live, work, and learn.
My downtime
In my free time, I contribute to open source projects and participate with tech communities in my city. I am a member of the Google Developers Group, Open source Africa community, Women tech-makers, and the Friends of Figma. I believe that a strong sense of community is essential for growth, as i get to network, share my knowledge and also learn from others’ experiences.
I enjoy reading, which helps me stay up-to-date on design trends and stimulates my creativity. I also enjoy gaming and listening to music.

I have a deep understanding of user behavior, needs, and motivations. I am skilled at running research projects, from scoping and planning to execution, analysis, and sharing of insights.
UX Design
Interpret data and qualitative feedback. Creating user stories, personas, storyboard, and sitemap. Crafting prototypes and wireframes. Conduct usability testing.
Visual Design
Creating digital designs for various platforms including websites, moilbe applications,, video games and more. Combining various colors, shapes and typography fonts to improve user experience.
Information Architecture
Building the structure of a website or application, and the relationship between all the areas. Creating and manipulating content and information in order to enhance impact, understanding, and readability.
